Hello, I’m Dan and I created NOLA DECO as a way to share with the public more than 20 years of experience in the film and tv set decoration department, working in South Louisiana and the Gulf Coast for all of it. NOLA DECO is my hub to offer moving and transportation, installation, and any other design and decoration support services.
NOLA DECO is also the name of my spot at Left Bank Vintage—a collection of vintage and design enthusiasts, on Tchoupitoulas just off Jackson—where I offer a range of furniture, decor, and books that speak to me, as someone who has spent a lot of time telling stories via atmosphere.
You can also use this site as a resource for shopping and inspiration in the region, via the NOLA DECO Directory, which is searchable and browsable.
NOLA DECO will also be a media space to explore the very personal nature of decoration, and reflect an appreciation for the things we surround ourselves with, that comfort and delight us and help us define who we are, regardless of station in life.
