Jefferson Variety Store

This is the iconic fabric shop known mostly for Mardi Gras costume fabric and accessories. Visiting the store on any given day you may find three or more generations of family working or doing homework amidst the piles of velvet, toile, spandex, feathers, applique, and so on. Tons of inexpensive fabric with flair, along with press-on jewels and Mardi Gras throws (stuffed animals, spears, etc.).
